How long should a man look
At a river and pile up
The fear within of drowning
People are often seen
Romanticising the sight
Where a wedlock occurs
Of waves receding and advancing
Binary of dread and dare
Fair we topple down
Can we imagine the possible extent
Of its depth and posit ourselves there
Tossing and turning in the childplay
Without hallucinating of being eaten up
Hey man! You can get washed ashore
Only when the fear is let loose
Being lost in the moments
Of increasing ecstacy
